Our field trips offer educational session about our REAL working dairy farm, along with ample time and space for children to indulge in their favorite activity: play! Discover the perfect blend of learning and fun at Green Acres Creamery, where kids can thrive and make lasting memories. Field trips available in Spring and Fall.

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT FIELD TRIPS TO THE FARM

  • Students cost $12 each 

  • The farm is available from 9am-1pm 

  • A rotational schedule will be assigned to each teacher. Please keep your group together as you rotate stations. Each station will be approximately 10 minutes long.

  • Please have your ice chest and lunch boxes at the back of the bus if you would like a farm hand to unload these items for you. 

  • The feed barn will be open for drinks, snacks, and field trip lunches. Lunches must be preordered. 

  • Farm store will be open.

  • We recommend close toe shoes.

  • Parents and siblings are welcome. Please arrive at least 10-15 min earlier than students to get your wrist bands and place your meal orders. Cost will be $12 per person 

  • ​In the event of inclement weather field trips will be rescheduled. 

  • You will receive a confirmation email once you submit your request form. Please let us know if you do not receive your email within a few days. Please check you spam folder.

Directions to the farm

Field trips will be held at the Back Forty. 

 PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE FARM STORE ENTRANCE!!!!​

Our farm has two entrances. One entrance is the farm store entrance, and the other entrance is The Back Forty entrance. The Back Forty entrance is the 2nd entrance with a sign saying Back Forty. Follow this road into the gate and down through the field until you see the designated parking area.
